Flicker had three pups this morning. Two boys and a girl all tri coloured. The girl was the first born and weighed 6oz. Next came the tiny boy weighing only 3 oz. Finally the big boy was delivered and he weighed a whopping 8 oz. Flicker did an excellent job considering the size of the last boy. She is proving to be an excellent mom and really gives the tiny boy tender care..
The following pictures were taken May 26 '03. The girl has the tan head and now weighs13 oz., the big boy is 18 oz. and tiny is 5 oz. In the picture below it looks like the little quarterback is in the huddle calling the play - "big boy, on 3 you take the left hind teat, big girl you take the right hind teat, I'll take the rest. I'm huuungry"

These pictures were taken June 4. Their eyes are open and their ears are flopping down indicating they will be able to hear soon. The little guy is still being supplemented with extra feedings and vitamins. Their weights are 33, 25 and 9 oz. We are still very concerned for him but he is gaining weight slow but steady.
The pictures on the right were taken June 8. Really shows how big the large boy and girl are and the TLC mom gives to the tiny one.
The pictures below were taken June 9. We stopped weighing the big pups a couple of days ago when they reached
40 and 31 oz and we could no longer keep them on the scales. The little guy weighed 13 oz today and is really starting to put on some fat. The pups are just begining to play and they will get really interesting now.
